Hallo!!! Well, I have a new companion. Elder Jensen and I were together for 18 weeks. He’s my longest companion so far. I will greatly miss him. Sometimes I just wish that I could put all my companions from the mission together cause I’ve just loved them all so much. I’m with Elder Jonathan Poon now! He’s great. We have a lot of mutual friends from BYU. He’s from Salt Lake. We’re going to have a great time together.
Chinese New Year begins Friday. That means that Taiwan is going to start shutting down. Finding gets difficult but that’s okay because we’ll be too full from everyone feeding us all day long. Between Friday and the following Wednesday we have at least two meals a day scheduled with members of our ward. 吃到飽睡覺好 [“Eat enough to sleep well” according to Google Translate.]
Our investigators are still doing wonderfully! We have five on date for baptism right now and I think they’re all on target!
Elder Jensen and I decided to play basketball at a local park for about 30 minutes on Tuesday night. Elder Jensen, being 80 feet tall, (你好高. 你幾公分) [“You are so tall; you are a few centimeters” according to Google Translate] balled everyone up pretty easy.
Our bishop’s family has a cute son named “Dou Dou” (“bean bean”) and he told his parents this week that his three favorite people in the world are “Mom, Dad, and Elder Moody.” I’m bringing him home with me! I don’t know why but I just have a way with kids. If we were allowed to baptize children under the age of eight, I’d have a ton of baptisms!
Love you all!
Elder Sam Moody
